Audit log

Where: Settings → Audit log

Settings → Audit log (covered here alongside reporting because it is the “who changed what, when” record). Every state-changing staff action is recorded automatically — actor, action, entity, result, IP — with before/after diffs for sensitive records; sign-in attempts and data exports are logged too.

  • Filters: Action (e.g. customers.update), Entity type, Audience (All staff / Admin / Vendor), From/To dates — then Apply (or Clear).
  • Table: When · Actor · Action code · Entity (“type #id”) · Result (HTTP method + status) · IP, paginated 50 per page.
  • Row expansion: Path, Summary, Request ID, User agent, and the Before / After diff — or “No field-level change was recorded for this action.”
  • “Export CSV” downloads audit-log.csv honoring your filters — exactly what an auditor asks for.
