Header & footer
The chrome around every page. Leave a section empty to keep the storefront's built-in default — the logo, colours and social profiles live under Store identity.
Header
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Navigation band | Brand colour keeps the dark band under the white logo strip; White makes the whole header one white surface with ink text — the search field gains a hairline border so it stays prominent. |
| Announcement bar | One line above the header (opening hours, a holiday cut-off, a new range) with an optional link label and address. Empty hides the strip. |
| Call-to-action button | A solid pill beside Sign in, for example Get a quote → /rfq. When set, Sign in becomes an outline so there is one primary action. |
| Band links | The links on the navigation band beside the catalog menu and the cart, and in the mobile drawer. Empty shows Request a Quote and Contact. |
Footer
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Footer colour | Light (the default) or Dark, which paints the footer in your brand fill with white text. |
| Under the logo | Tagline, address or opening hours. Line breaks are kept. |
| Newsletter signup | A name + email form above the link columns. Every signup becomes a lead in Customers → Leads with the note Newsletter signup. |
| Link columns | Your own columns replace the built-in ones completely once you add any. |
| Bottom row and Extra small print | Small legal links beside the copyright, and a line appended to it (company registration, VAT number). |
Menus
Content → Menus holds named lists of links (main, footer) that the header, footer and pages reference. The main menu's links appear on the white top strip; anything already on the navigation band is dropped so a link never shows twice.
Storefront template
Content → Storefront template moves a finished look between stores. Export this store downloads brand colours, theme, header & footer and page content — not the store name, logo or social profiles, which stay each store's own.
Start from a template shows the plan first: which pages would be created or skipped and which branding keys change. Preview in storefront opens your live store in a preview that applies the template to the view only — its theme, header & footer and pages, switchable from the bar at the top — and writes nothing; the link lasts a day. Apply to this store then writes the theme and header & footer immediately and adds the pages as drafts, so page content does not change on the live store until you publish it from Pages. On a store that is already live, preview first and apply only once the team agrees.
| Template | Look |
|---|---|
| Trade Counter | White chrome, search first: a hero with a search box and packshot panel, a product showcase with quantity + Add on each card, a paste-your-list quick order band, features, buying steps, a trade-account pitch, an image collage, brand logos and guide cards. Built entirely from the Trade kit blocks, so every section is editable and reusable on other pages. |
| Stark Mono · Fasteners | Black chrome, one red accent, condensed type — a spec-first catalogue. |
| Industrial Distributor | Bold and factual — built for parts, fasteners and site supply. |
| Clean Wholesale | Light and minimal — lets a good catalog speak for itself. |
Import a template takes an exported file through the same plan-then-apply flow. Tick Overwrite pages with the same address only when you mean to replace existing pages; new ones are created as drafts either way.
After applying a template, open the draft Home in Pages, swap the placeholder images and copy for your own, pin the products you want on the showcase, then publish.
