Notifications
Where: The bell in the left rail
Clicking the bell opens the Notifications page, built for reading through them properly. The red badge on the bell counts what is unread.
The reason rail. On the left, Inbox holds everything. Under Reason each kind of notification gets its own entry with its unread count: Requests (new and stale RFQs), Quotes, Leads, Orders, Payments, Invoices, Returns, Approvals, Automation, ERP sync, WhatsApp and so on. A reason only appears once you have received one of its kind.
Unread and All. The page opens on Unread. Switch to All to see the ones you have already read, which stay greyed out.
Reading a notification. Each row shows a coloured dot while it is unread (amber for warnings, red for errors), the title, the first two lines of the message, its reason and how long ago it arrived. Hover the time to see the exact date. Click the row to open the page it concerns; that also marks it read.
Tidying up.
- The envelope at the end of a row marks just that one read.
- The bin deletes it for good.
- Mark all as read clears everything in the reason you are looking at; on Inbox it clears every reason.
- Show older notifications at the bottom loads the next page.
When nothing is waiting the page says "You are all caught up".
