The Products page and review statuses

Where: Products in the sidebar

Reading the Products page

  • The header shows Products and your total count, with a refresh button.
  • The toolbar has List a product (create), Import (bulk upload — see Bulk import) and a search box (“Search products…”) that filters instantly across SKU, name, description and status.
  • The table is paginated (25, 50 or 100 rows per page) and shows: a photo thumbnail, SKU, Name, Unit, Price and Status.
  • The Price column shows “from [amount]” — the lowest of your price tiers — or “On request” if you priced nothing (buyers then have to ask for a quote).
  • Click the arrow at the start of a row to expand it: you’ll see the full Description, the Listed date, and — if the product was rejected — the operator’s full Rejected reason in amber.
  • Row actions: Submit for approval (only on Draft or Rejected rows), a pencil (Edit product) and a trash can (Archive product).

An empty catalog shows “No products yet”“List a product to start selling, or import your inventory in one go.” — with a List a product button.

The review lifecycle — what each status means

Every listing carries one of four statuses, shown as a colour tag:

DraftAmberYou created it but haven’t sent it for review. Invisible to buyers.Edit freely, then Submit for approval.
In reviewBlueIt’s sitting in the operator’s moderation queue. Invisible to buyers.Wait. (Shown as pending in some messages.)
ApprovedGreenThe operator approved it — it is live and buyable on the storefront, and your proposed prices were published.Sell! Editing it sends it back to review (see Submitting for review).
RejectedRedThe operator sent it back with a reason. Invisible to buyers. (The dashboard calls this Needs changes.)Read the reason in the expanded row, fix the listing, resubmit.
