Reading the dashboard

The “Get selling” checklist (new vendors)

Until you’ve been through the motions once, the dashboard shows an onboarding card titled “Get selling”“List products, get them approved, then fulfil orders and get paid.” It tracks two steps:

  1. “List your first product”“Add an item to your catalog so buyers can find it.” The List button opens the product form.
  2. “Submit a product for approval”“Send a product to the marketplace operator for review.” The Submit button takes you to Products.

When both are done the card switches to “You’re all set”“Every setup step is done. You can dismiss this.” Dismissing hides it for good on that browser.

Your terms: commission and payout tiles

Two tiles state the commercial terms the operator has set for you:

  • Your commission — the percentage of gross sales the operator keeps (e.g. 7%). Everything else is yours.
  • Payout terms — shown as Net-N (e.g. Net-30): after an order is delivered, its net amount becomes payable to you within N days.

These terms are set by the operator when they approve you and can only be changed by them — there is no settings page for them in the portal. If you believe they’re wrong, contact the operator.

The four money tiles

Each tile is clickable and covers the current trend window (the last 30 days by default):

The Net earnings chart

The “Net earnings” panel plots your net earnings per day as bars, captioned “Last N days · [total]”. Hover any bar to see the exact figure for that date. If you haven’t earned anything in the window yet you’ll see: “No earnings in this window yet — fulfil orders and your trend builds here.”

Recent orders

The “Recent orders” panel lists your latest five sub-orders — Order reference (the first 8 characters of its id), date, a colour-coded status tag (green = delivered, blue = shipped, red = cancelled, amber = everything else) and the net amount. Click any row, or View all, to jump into Orders. Before your first sale the panel shows “No orders yet”“Once buyers order your products, their orders show up here for you to accept, ship and deliver.”

Your catalog and Top products

The “Your catalog” panel shows your total product count and a breakdown by review state: Approved & live (green), In review (blue), Needs changes (red) and Draft (amber). The Manage link opens Products. With an empty catalog it shows “No products yet”“List your first product to start selling on the marketplace.” — and a List a product button.

If you have sales, a “Top products” panel ranks your best sellers — “By sales · last N days” — with name, SKU, units sold and gross.

The Commission breakdown dialog

Click the Commission tile to open a dialog that shows exactly how the commission figure was built:

  • An intro line restating the deal: “7% of gross sales. Cancelled orders earn nothing, so they are not counted.” (your own rate is shown).
  • A by-status table — Status / Orders / Gross / Commission — with a Total row.
  • If any orders were cancelled in the window, a note such as: “A further N order(s) were cancelled and are not counted above — no commission was earned on them. Had they completed they would have added [amount].”
  • A “Per order” table — Order / Date / Status / Gross / Commission — sorted with the largest commission first.
